Frozen Yogurt Mocha Chip Sticks

These delectable treats are a guilt-free blend of creamy Greek yogurt, rich espresso, and chocolate chips, perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings while keeping health in mind. Packed with protein and natural sweeteners like maple syrup or honey, they're a refreshing alternative to traditional ice cream. Enjoy them at gatherings or as an everyday snack—easy to make and endlessly customizable!

Ingredients
  

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1/2 cup brewed espresso, cooled

1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey for a different sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Optional: whipped cream and chocolate drizzle for serving

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, cooled espresso, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and sea salt. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well-blended.

    Fold in the mini chocolate chips, ensuring an even distribution throughout the mixture.

      Pour the yogurt mixture into silicone ice pop molds or ice cube trays, filling them just about to the top. If using ice cube trays, insert toothpicks into the center of each cube for easier handling later.

        Tap the molds gently against the counter to remove any air bubbles and ensure the mixture settles nicely.

          Cover the molds with plastic wrap or lids (if they come with lids) to prevent freezer odors from affecting your treats.

            Freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until fully frozen.

              To serve, run the molds briefly under warm water to help release the mocha chip sticks. Gently pull them out and serve immediately, optionally adding a swirl of whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate on top for that extra flair!

                Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for a refreshing treat later!
