4 slices of sourdough bread

1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

1 ripe tomato, sliced

1 avocado, sliced

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves

1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Cracked black pepper, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Ingredients: Start by slicing the sourdough bread, fresh mozzarella, tomato, and avocado. Set them aside.

    Assemble the Sandwich: Take two slices of sourdough bread and layer them with fresh mozzarella, tomato slices, avocado, and a handful of fresh basil leaves. Drizzle about 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinaigrette over the top, sprinkle with salt and pepper, then place the other two slices of sourdough on top to create a sandwich.

      Heat the Pan: In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and let it heat up for a minute.

        Grill the Sandwich: Carefully place the assembled sandwich in the skillet. Grill for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.

          Flip and Finish: Gently flip the sandwich and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
