Ingredients

1 pre-made pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup pizza sauce (or your favorite tomato sauce)

1 ½ cups fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded

½ cup goat cheese, crumbled

1 medium zucchini, thinly sliced

1 medium yellow squash, thinly sliced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh spinach leaves

½ cup red bell pepper, thinly sliced

¼ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Balsamic glaze, for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven according to the pizza dough instructions, usually around 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up as well.

Prepare the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into your desired shape (round or rectangular). Transfer it to a lightly greased baking sheet or a preheated pizza stone.

Spread the Sauce: Evenly spread the pizza sauce over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.

Add the Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously all over the sauce, then crumble the goat cheese on top for an extra tangy flavor.

Layer the Vegetables: In a mixing bowl, combine the zucchini, yellow squash, cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper, and fresh spinach. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until well coated.

Assemble the Pizza: Distribute the vegetable mixture evenly over the cheese on the pizza. Make sure to spread it out so that every slice gets a bit of everything.

Bake the Pizza: Place the pizza in the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

Finish with Freshness: Once the pizza is out of the oven, let it cool for a minute. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with fresh basil before slicing.

Serve and Enjoy: Cut the pizza into slices and serve hot. Enjoy the vibrant flavors of the summer veggies and the creamy notes of the cheeses!
