Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and olive oil until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the top. Ensure that all fillets are well-coated. Cover with plastic wrap or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Bake the Salmon: Remove the salmon from the marinade, allowing excess liquid to drip off. Place the fillets on a lined baking sheet. Reserve the marinade for basting. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Baste and Broil (Optional): For an extra touch of caramelization, baste the salmon with the reserved marinade during the last 5 minutes of baking or switch to broil. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven, season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a zesty finish.
