Prepare the base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until the mixture resembles wet sand.

    Form the crust: Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8x8 inch baking dish, creating an even layer. Use the back of a measuring cup or your hands to ensure it's tightly packed.
