Ingredients

1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

6 slices of thick-cut bacon, chopped

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Brussels Sprouts: In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Add Bacon: Add the chopped bacon to the bowl and mix well to ensure the Brussels sprouts are surrounded by the bacon pieces.

Roasting: Spread the Brussels sprout mixture out on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the Brussels sprouts are tender and browned, and the bacon is crispy.

Finishing Touches: Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and toss gently to combine.

Serve: Transfer the roasted Brussels sprouts to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
