For the Shrimp:

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Orange Glaze:

1/2 cup fresh orange juice (about 2 oranges)

Zest of 1 orange

1/4 cup soy sauce

3 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon grated ginger

1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (slurry)

For Serving:

2 cups cooked jasmine rice

1 cup steamed broccoli florets

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Sliced green onions (for garnish)

Lime wedges (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Shrimp: In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Set aside.

Make the Orange Glaze: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the orange juice, orange zest, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Thicken the Glaze: Once simmering, stir in the cornstarch slurry. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and are cooked through. Do this in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding the pan.

Glaze the Shrimp: Once all the shrimp are cooked, pour the orange glaze over them in the skillet. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly and cook for an additional minute until heated through.

Assemble the Bowls: In serving bowls, layer the cooked jasmine rice and steamed broccoli. Top with the sticky orange glazed shrimp.

Garnish: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve with lime wedges on the side for extra zing.
