Ingredients

2 cups of biscuit mix

3/4 cup of milk

1 cup of diced cooked ham

1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup of honey

1/4 cup of Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon of garlic powder

1 teaspoon of onion powder

1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

Fresh chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Biscuit Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the biscuit mix and milk. Stir until just combined; the mixture will be a bit sticky.

Add Ham and Cheese: Fold in the diced ham and shredded cheddar cheese into the biscuit dough until evenly distributed.

Prepare the Baking Dish: Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough evenly into the dish.

Make the Sweet Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.

Glaze the Biscuits: Drizzle the sweet glaze mixture over the biscuit dough, ensuring to cover all of them slightly.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits have risen and are golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Once out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes. If desired, garnish with freshly chopped chives for a pop of color. Serve warm and enjoy!
